MG Hector Plus price increase in India 2020
MG recently entered the Indian car market but took it by storm thanks to Hector. The MG ZS EV was a good product too. Seeing the success of its products in India, MG launched a new Hector Plus recently. Read below about MG Hector Plus price increase.
How much has the price increased?
MG as promised has increased the price of Hector Plus compared to the introductory price of the SUV. The six-seater SUV from Hector Plus is known for its comfortable captain seats. The variant wise price increase is shown below.

The highest price increase with the petrol engine can be seen in the base variant Style with manual transmission. The base variant is also sold more so the company has decided to increase the most price there.

There is a whopping Rs. 46,000 increase in the base Diesel variant of the car. Whether this will be a smart move or not only time can tell. Other models have been moderately increased in price.

It should be one of the most important parameters in car-buying decisions. Safety features include 3 point Seatbelts, 360-degree camera, ABS+EBD+Brake assist, Cornering front fog lamps and Electronic parking brake. Additional safety features include ESP, Front and Rear parking sensor, Hill hold control, Rear Disc brakes and Rear defogger.

Connected car tech
MG is calling the new connected car tech features as i-SMART. These features include Chit-Chat voice Interaction*, Free OTA updates, Geo-Fence, Premium Gaana membership, Voice recognition and Vehicle status checker. These additional features make it a lucrative offer and may attract a large number of tech-savvy consumers. You also get Smart Driver Information in this car
All in all, this car is a well-made six-seater with emphasis put on middle seat comfort. Lot of its elements is shared with MG Hector which keep its production costs low. Connected Car tech and other additional features may be considered as a strong point. The new Tata Gravitas which is set to launch soon will rival the MG Hector Plus.
