2020 Ford Aspire might get a minor facelift

The price of the new Ford Aspire will be around Rs 6 lakhs to Rs 10 lakhs. This will be somewhat more than the current price of the vehicle which is Rs 5.88 lakhs to Rs 9 lakhs.

2020 Ford Aspire Engine

The Ford Aspire 2020 will have the same 1.2 litre Dragon petrol engine. This produces 95 bhp of power and 120 Nm of torque. The diesel is from the Ecosport is a 1.5 litre engine which produces a power output of 99 bhp along with 215Nm of torque. The transmission option will be a manual 5 speed and a 6-speed torque converter. 

The petrol variants of Aspire reach top speeds of 155-160 km/h while their diesel counterparts top out at 170 km/h. The Ti-VCT engine powers the petrol variants from zero to 100 km/h in a decent 15 seconds. The TDCi engine makes the diesel variant faster as they cover the gap in 12 seconds.

The diesel variant of the vehicle has an economy of 20.5 km/l in the city. This will not change in the new engine. The petrol manual version will return a mileage of 12km/l. This goes the same for the automatic. The proper maintenance and better driving dynamics will improve the fuel economy furthermore.

2020 Ford Aspire Safety

The car is packed with safety. This varies from variant to variant. The topmost variant gets all the safety features. The entry-level variants only have selected a few systems installed.
