Mahindra’s latest compact SUV, the TUV300 will be launched on the 10th of September, 2015. The vehicle has been the buzz for quite some time now. As the upcoming SUV is getting closer to its launch date, more spy pics have emerged, providing details about the interiors of the vehicle. The pics clearly show that it will come with an option of seven seats.

The TUV300 is Mahindra’s second attempt at a compact SUV / crossover, after the Quanto, which was essentially a smaller version of the Xylo. The TUV300, however is not a replacement of the Bolero but will be positioned as a tough compact SUV that can also tackle semi-urban and rural conditions with ease. As seen in the pics by Autocar, The TUV 300 get a a pair of foldable jump seats, fitted in the boot. While it seems to be a bit cramped and difficult for adults to sit in comfortably, what it does is increase its flexibility, thereby adding tremendous value to this compact SUV. Also seen is a long pocket along with a cup/can holder on the inside of the 5th door, i.e the boot.

While we were the first ones to reveal the interiors of this compact SUV, alongwith its name – TUV300, these fresh pics reveal that the interiors will come equipped features such as an infotainment system with a touchscreen, and a navigation system. It will also feature USB and AUX ports along with Bluetooth connectivity.  The TUV300’s dashboard will feature a mix of faux aluminium and chrome. The instrument cluster contains two chrome-ringed dials, similar to the XUV500 and there’s an all-new three-spoke steering wheel, with audio and bluetooth controls, however, the steering-mounted controls will be available only on higher variants.

The TUV300 will be powered by the 1.5-litre engine, called as mHawk80, which indicates 80PS of power that it will produce instead of the 100bhp on the Quanto.
