Some websites had photoshopped the Aegea with a BMW badge and they suggested it had similar styling to the Bavarian car maker.

But XTomi has given the Aegea an Abarth badge and it does look stunning. The Aegea is likely to be the next-generation Linea, which will even make it to India in 2017.

The Aegea does look sporty in the Abarth clothing and it gets that extra flare. Abarth has so far only made Punto and 500-range of products. But it seems that Abarth might be looking at getting a sedan version too, to expand its reach further. Unfortunately, the artist didn’t show how the rear of the Aegea will look with the new Abarth badge, which in any case isn’t the strongest area of styling for the Aegea.

If in an unlikely case, Fiat decides to let Abarth have a go on the Aegea, it should plonk in the 1.4-litre 190bhp engine that we have already seen on the Abarth 695 Biposto. Fiat has been working on a more powerful version of the Avventura, with 135CV (133bhp) of power for the Indian car market.

This is likely to come with an Abarth branding as the chances of people opting for a Fiat badge might be lower in India, especially the price it will be coming at.

Fiat will a section of Abarth in its existing Indian showrooms. It will be Jeep that will have a separate dealership.
