Upcoming 7 Seater Cars Mitsubishi Xpander

The Mitsubishi company has not heard it’s cash register bells ringing in a while now. The company has finally decided to do something about that. The line-up is now getting a refresh with an MPV. The Mitusbishi Xpander is going to be launched soon. There are talks about the car being assembled and being built on a localised platform. It will be good if this car does not take the CBU route in India. The Xpander will go up against Marazzo, the upcoming Ertiga and Renault Lodgy.

 

Upcoming 7 Seater Cars Maruti Ertiga

The new generation Maruti Ertiga is also set to come around the same time as the Mahindra Marazzo. These launches will make the market for the seven seater MUVs very versatile and competitive. On one hand there will be existing offerings from Toyota and Renault in the form of the Innova and the Lodgy. The Ertiga will be a great choice to consider when it comes to a family hauler. Maruti has not given us any updates if this will have captain seats, but since everyone in the segment is offering them, Maruti should too on the Ertiga. The Ertiga will receive a 1.4-litre petrol engine and the 1.3-litre diesel motor in this update. The car will be available in a five-speed manual and AMT with both engines. The car could also get the new 1.5-litre petrol engine coming with the Ciaz facelift. The Ertiga will again be priced competitively. It should be priced from 9 lakhs to 16 lakhs.

Upcoming 7 Seater Cars Renault RBC

Renault has allegedly begun testing the Kwid based 7 seater car, the RBC. The car is expected to come soon to India soon. There has been a great amount of speculation of what engine will it use. As per a report, the Renault RBC is likely to get an updated version of the Kwid’s 1.0 L SCe petrol engine equipped with a turbocharger.

Upcoming 7 Seater Cars Alturas

Based on the big Ssangyong SUV, the Rexton becomes the XUV700 aka the alleged Alturas. This big 7 seater is Mahindra’s answer to the Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour. This will be positioned as a big luxury 4X4 SUV and will be feature loaded. It will also be competitively priced to sit close to the Fortuner but not be costly than it. The car will get a 2.0 petrol engine and a 2.2 diesel motor. Both engines will be mated to automatic gearboxes. This car will sit above the XUV500 and become the flagship car of the company.

Upcoming 7 Seater Cars Tata Harrier (7-seater)

There is a lot of interest and buzz around the Harrier from Tata. This will be Tata’s Creta fighting SUV. There is more news too. The Harrier will also serve as a platform for the production of a 7 seater car. This car will come in the year 2020. We might see the production version and launch in late 2019. The car will use a 2.0-litre diesel engine and be made available with a whole lot of features. It could get AWD among many other features. It will sit above the existing Tata Hexa and be the flagship car for the company.

Upcoming 7 Seater Cars WagonR Seven Seater

Wagon R 7 seater

Maruti is rumored to be working on a seven seater version. This seven seater version will be based on the next-generation of the Wagon R. According to various media reports, Maruti is going to launch the Wagon R 7-Seater in India sometime next year. Just like the next-gen iteration of the hatchback, it will have an impressive feature list. The car will have the 1.0-litre engine and have a manual and AMT gearbox option. Right now the car will be a little bit more delayed. Maruti has tentatively decided that the car needs to be put on hold. The car could be called in if the Datsun Go Cross Seven Seater is seen as a segment that needs to be attacked by Maruti. Right now the Maruti Eeco is good enough for that space.

Upcoming 7 Seater Cars Hyundai Creta 7 Seater

Hyundai will be making its way into the mass 7 Seater game with the Hyundai Creta which will spot a third row. The car will use the current Hyundai Creta platform and will be made with a extension of the rear. The car will be also continue to use the engine from the regular Creta. It could feature the 4WD system from the Hyundai Tucson too. We can  see this car coming in 2020.
