Mahindra XUV300 facelift expected launch timeline

The XUV300 was Mahindra’s first step into the modernisation of its SUV lineup. Since then, it has upped its game even further by launching the XUV700. Its next big launch will be the Scorpio. Coming to the XUV300, it debuted with a lot of segment-first features, but could not garner in high sale numbers when compared to its rivals. So Mahindra is working on giving it a facelift to increase its sales. In today’s article, we will see the expected launch timeline of the XUV300 facelift.

There is no confirmation from Mahindra regarding the XUV300 launch facelift. But as mentioned above, the XUV300 is quite an important product for Mahindra. So Mahindra is definitely working on a facelifted XUV300. It is expected to be launched by the end of this year or in the initial months of 2023.

The XUV300 does have that menacing front look. However, with the upcoming update, Mahindra will give it some subtle design changes. We can expect new bumpers and headlamp design. We could also see a new tailgate design and alloy wheels. Mahindra could add some new colour options.

Interior and features

The XUV300 needs a major update in the interiors. The dashboard feels quite outdated when you compare it to the newer competition cars in this segment. We expect a new dashboard layout with a floating infotainment system in the facelift.

New Mahindra XUV300- Specifications

Mahindra is working on a new engine for the XUV300. It will get a new 1.2-litre mStallion TGDI engine capable of producing 128bhp & 230Nm of torque. This engine will make it one of the most powerful compact SUVs. The 1.5-litre diesel engine will be retained on the XUV300 facelift. Both engines will come with a manual gearbox. Mahindra should replace the AMT gearbox with a better automatic option.
