New Mahindra Bolero Neo – Features over Bolero
The Mahindra Bolero in all these years has been a successful product for the Mahindra brand. However, it has been a long time since the Bolero got a modern update. With spy shots surfacing here and there, a modern Bolero, called Bolero Neo, is expected to make its way to the market. In this article, we will discuss the changes that we might get to see on the Mahindra Bolero Neo over the current Bolero.
Touchscreen Infotainment System
The Bolero Neo is expected to get a touchscreen infotainment system, which the regular Bolero misses. With the touchscreen system, the Neo might also be able to bring Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Adding these would enhance the convenience of the infotainment system.
New steering wheel
The Bolero misses on steering mounted controls, which add a lot of convenience for the driver. With the Bolero Neo, Mahindra is expected to bring the multi-function steering wheel. Moreover, tilt-adjust for the steering might also be made available.
New headlamps
Adding LED headlamps to a car enhances its exterior appeal by quite a great amount. With the Bolero Neo, this is what Mahindra might do. LED headlamps with LED DRLs are expected with this product. Also, projector headlamps are expected to give it a much premium look.
Moreover, ORVMs with turn indicators are expected.
Improved features
Features like sunroof are being given high priority these days. Mahindra, in order to make this product a success, might offer a sunroof with it. Adding a sunroof enhances the interior appeal of the car, giving it a roomy feel on the inside.
Moreover, the Bolero Neo might get automatic AC and an improved fully-digital instrument cluster. The Bolero does get a digital instrument cluster but looks outdated.
Improved Interior
The Bolero Neo is expected to come with a much better interior than the Bolero. Improved interior styling might bring better looking AC vents on the inside. Even the centre layout is expected to improve to give the Bolero Neo a modern look and feel.
Also, the Bolero Neo might get front & rear armrests and rear AC vents for added comfort of the passengers.
Charging Ports
The unavailability of charging ports on the Bolero gives it a very outdated feel. The Bolero Neo, however, is expected to get charging ports on the front as well as rear for the convenience of the passengers.
Improved safety
The Bolero lacks some safety features that are necessary these days, like an engine immobilizer and dual airbags on the minimum. Auto door-lock while driving is also expected for added safety of the passengers. Also, the last row is expected to get front-facing seats in order for the product to comply with strict safety standards.
