As per a leaked video on Facebook, the Landmark Jeep CEO or its staff have beaten a likely customer of Jeep Compass. That is what the message says. The video shows the man being beaten up. Now, we aren’t certain if the victim is a customer or had done something previously. But if the Jeep brand staff/senior management does such things, Jeep’s brand name will be affected. It is clearly affected already.

FCA has shared an official statement with us. It says, “We are in the know of the incident and we have taken this up very seriously. The sequence of events is currently being investigated. Appropriate action will be taken once all facts are studied and considered.”

In the recent case of the Indigo staff pinning down a passenger, the airline had taken strict action against the customer. Now, it is the job of the brand to come clean on this, with clear statement. Jeep was off to a good start in India, and this could dent the company’s image and refrain buyers from procuring their products.

Whatever the situation, the staff or even the CEO getting violent in the work premises isn’t acceptable. If the customer or even the guest had behaved incorrectly or if he got violent, the dealership could have filed a compliant. The same isn’t acceptable from a “reputed” car brand. This is highly unprofessional irrespective of the situation. Do share this video with others, so FCA responds more quickly on this. Many Indian buyers money is at stake, they have trusted the brand blindly.

I think the airline took strict action against employees at fault. Not customer.

never buy a Jeep or Fiat.. useless you want to be treated this way(whatever is the reason)..
Wearing a suit does not entitle one to take the law in ones hand and hit a customer..
