We have been getting a lot of inquiries on the TVS Akula 200. Do you recall the Akula 310? This was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. This had stolen the show. The most aggressive and stylish looking bike on the show. For a 310cc, it was cool and yea we liked it. But, a big BUT, what’s the Akula 200? We have got so many questions on it and we will try to answer them. One after the other. From what we know, there is no such bike. In fact, TVS isn’t getting the Akula brand into production. Not we know off. So, let it begin:

TVS Akula 200 Launch Date

There will not be a production version of the Akula. So, it will be re-named or re-badged as Apache. That is even if it is ever coming.

TVS will stick to the Apache brand as it has been known. So, there won’t be a launch date for it.

TVS Akula 200 Price in India

Well, from what we understand that if TVS gets a 200cc, fully faired motorcycle, it should be priced at about Rs 20,000 more than the regular Apache RTR 200 4V. But, at the moment, there are no plans from TVS to introduce such a bike in the market.

So, if you are waiting for the TVS Akula 200 Price? That will not happen anytime soon. Your wait shall be longer and by then you might be in a status to even buy a much bigger bike than the Apache 200 also.

If you are looking for a 200cc TVS, then Apache RTR 200 4V is your only option. If you need a fully-faired bike.

The one which has the sports bike look, TVS doesn’t have anything in its portfolio yet. So, you should be waiting for the TVS Akula 200 Price in India.

TVS Akula 200 Engine

TVS has developed a 200cc engine for the Apache RTR already. So the same engine will be offered on the Akula 200 as well. There will not be an all new engine. This will be the same fuel-injection option that we have already seen on the Apache 200. The engine performance will be the same, though there shall be a engine in the tuning.

The Apache 200 if it comes as a fully-faired version it will have different engine tuning. This will be to accommodate the extra weight because of the fairing. Though we aren’t certain if a fuly-faired Apache will come.
