Rickshaws in Kerala look like Scorpio and Nano

Kerala is a state that loves its cars and bikes. There are so many imported cars and bikes in the state and the passion isn’t just amongst the rich. Rickshaw owners have also converted their rickshaws into something funky. With passion having no boundaries there are heavily modified three wheelers in this southern Indian state. What is more, there are some good jobs done that do look cool.

There are two such instances that we will like to get to your notice.

A rickshaw looks like Mahindra Scorpio

A man in Kerala got his rickshaw converted into a Scorpio-look alike. Atleast from the rear it did. There are the vertical Scorpio tail lamps and then there is so much more in terms of styling that has been picked up. Like the chrome strip, the number plate etc etc.

These elements make the rickshaw look like the Scorpio from the back. The Mahindra Scorpio has been an absolute hit SUV and is still one of the bread-and-butter products for the Indian utility vehicle manufacturer. What is more, someone had shared the image of this rickshaw with Mr Anand Mahindra. The big boss of the group got his team to find that rickshaw owner and swapped his three-wheeler with a four-wheeler Mahindra Supro. The company has taken this rickshaw and it will be put up in the Mahindra museum as a collection.

A rickshaw or a Nano?

When Tata Nano was launched back in 2009, there were people who compared it to the rickshaw.

Calling it cheap and poor man’s car. But it wasn’t the same. It was much better in quality, features and power too. It is a highly affordable car. Someone in Kerala has modified his rickshaw to look like the Nano from the rear.

This rickshaw looks killer with its electric blue colour, black roof and chrome bling on the front.

This is what makes it stand out and hats off to the creator. There is creativity at this level, which makes it amazing. What’s more, there is a rear wiper on this rickshaw, which isn’t even seen on the Nano. Great job done!
