Mahindra XUV 3XO Safety

Mahindra XUV 3XO Safety

Set to launch in the coming days, the Mahindra XUV 3XO is said to come with enhanced safety. We all know that Mahindra is another Indian brand after Tata Motors that has safety as a priority. As we know, the XUV300 was the only SUV in the segment after Nexon to score a 5-star safety rating. In fact the SUV scored more than Nexon in adult and child safety ratings. However, Tata Motors enhanced the safety of Nexon even further and achieved one of the highest ratings in Global NCAP.

That said, the Mahindra XUV 3XO is said to come with more advanced safety features. According to some strong reports, the XUV 3XO will likely come with a Level-2 ADAS system. It is an important safety feature that Nexon misses out on and could be a deciding factor whenever the 3XO will be crash tested. Also, the XUV300 was earlier equipped with 7-Airbags which includes the driver’s knee airbag. It was later eliminated from the SUV but now we can expect it to come back with the 3XO. Finally, we are also expecting Mahindra to enhance the build quality of the already strong platform of XUV 3XO. So with all the new safety kit and enhanced build quality, the Mahindra 3XO could beat the Tata Nexon by achieving more ratings for child and adult safety.

Even in terms of features the Mahindra XUV 3XO could outsell the Tata Nexon. Firstly, the 3XO will be coming with the first in segment feature, the massive panoramic sunroof! Apart from that, it will likely continue to get rear disc brakes, something which Nexon does not get. Finally, Mahindra is claiming stunning performance for its 1.2-litre TGDi engine as the brand is claiming 0 to 60 kmph under 4.5 seconds. So with new design, new features and improved safety, Mahindra XUV 3XO could be a danger to the Tata Nexon!
