Why?

New 7-seater SUV

Hyundai updated the Creta earlier this year and now the brand is working on the Alcazar facelift. We have covered the Alcazar facelift earlier too, but now it seems that its launch is just around the corner. So it doesn’t make sense you buy the current model. You should only buy it if you are on a tight budget and can’t stretch more. Also, you might get some exciting discounts as dealers would want to clear the existing stocks. All the other buyers should wait for the facelift.

New 7-seater SUV – What to expect in the facelift?

The facelift will get a major revamp in exterior design. We can expect a Creta-like design with connected DRLs and tail lamps. Other changes could include new bumpers, grille, and sequential indicators. In the interiors, we could see a new dashboard layout with connected twin screens. Other added features could include a heads-up display, memory function, etc.

Specifications

Under the hood, the Alcazar facelift will continue with the same engine options. So it will continue with the 1.5-litre turbo petrol capable of producing 157bhp and 253Nm of torque. Transmission options will continue to be handled by a manual and a DCT gearbox. The diesel engine is a 1.5-litre unit capable of producing 113bhp and 250Nm of torque. Transmission options of manual and automatic should continue.
