The eVX is a very important product for Maruti as it marks its entry into the EV space. Ahead of the launch, the brand is testing the car rigorously in various parts of the country. Now, one such test mule has been spotted revealing the all-important interior details. Let’s talk about the Maruti eVX interiors. 

New spy shots

The spy video was posted on the Instagram account of automotive journalist, Bunny Punia. Jumping straight into the interior details, we can spot the floating infotainment system that integrates into the digital instrument cluster unit.  Below that, we can see rectangular AC vents, an electronic parking brake and a rotary dial for the gear selector. The steering wheel is a two-spoke unit, which is a first for any Maruti car. Overall the interiors look production-ready.

Maruti eVX

The spied car comes with proper pearl-shaped LED headlamps. Overall we can expect a closed-off grille and sloping bonnet. The car looks nicely proportionate in these spy shots. Though the concept model showcased production-ready tail lamps, the test mule doesn’t sport tail lamps. Coming to specifications, the eVX is expected to come with two powertrain options. The first could be a 60kWh battery pack that could deliver a real-world range of 400+km and the second could be a 48kWh with a real-world range of around 350km to 400km. Motor-wise, we can expect single and dual motor options.

Maruti eVX – Launch & pricing

Maruti eVX

The Maruti eVX is being regularly spotted in testing in India. According to reports, Maruti plans to unveil the production-spec eVX by the end of 2024. Pricing details are expected to be revealed in January. What about the pricing? We are expecting the Maruti eVX to be priced from Rs 21 lakh to Rs 27 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Once launched it will rival other upcoming products like Tata Curvv EV and Hyundai Creta EV.
