India’s favourite MPV, the Toyota Innova Hycross is back with a bang! But how? Well, last year in April 2023, Toyota had discontinued the top variants of the Innova Hycross – ZX & ZX (O) for supply related issues. Now after a year, Toyota has again started the bookings for these variants but with a twist!

Toyota Innova Hycross – Twist

So with the big news of re-opening the bookings of ZX & ZX (O) variants of the Innova Hycross, Toyota has also increased the pricing by 1%. In fact the price hike has been implemented on the hybrid variants. That said, the ZX & ZX (O) variants are now priced at Rs 34.25 lakh & 35.02 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Which means the ZX & ZX (O) now cost Rs 35,000 more.

Features 

So what makes these two variants special? Well it is the exclusive feature list of the ZX & ZX (O) variants. Toyota Innova Hycross is known for its second row comfort which is offered by the comfortable Ottoman seats. However, this feature was available only from the ZX variant. Now as the ZX variant is back on sale, buyers can enjoy the comfortable Ottoman seats. Other exclusive features the ZX variant gets are – 10.1-inch touchscreen system, panoramic sunroof, 6-Airbags, 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, powered tailgate, 9-speaker JBL sound system, and more. 

On the other hand, the ZX (O) variant gets all of these features along with ADAS. The ADAS features of the ZX (O) Innova Hycross includes – Rear cross-traffic alert, Automatic high beam, Blind spot monitor, Adaptive cruise control, & Lane-keep assist.

Toyota Innova Hycross – Engine Specifications 

Being top variants of the Innova Hycross, both the ZX & ZX (O) variants are offered only with hybrid powertrain options. It gets a 2.0-litre petrol hybrid engine which produces 184bhp & 188Nm of peak torque. Whereas the motor is capable of producing 206Nm of torque. This engine comes mated only with the e-CVT transmission option.
