Maruti Alto and Wagon R won’t be getting SHVS options just like the Ciaz and the Ertiga. Mr C.V. Raman stated that these small vehicles won’t be getting the smart hybrid vehicle by Suzuki technology. The Alto and the Wagon R both have good fuel efficiency and already have a low carbon footprint. The Alto K10 and even the Wagon R already are BS-IV and OBD-=II compliant.

The Alto K10 returns about 24.07km/l of mileage and Wagon R has an efficiency of 20.

51km/l. These do not need any more enhancements. The add-on technology will increase the price of these products that will hike it a good percentage.

All the buyers who need a lower running costs on this models are opting for CNG.

The Maruti Ciaz and the Ertiga at the moment are offered with SHVS only for the diesel versions. These help to enhance the mileage of the sedan and the MUV.
