New Volkswagen cars coming in 2024
Volkswagen India recorded good growth in 2024. The brand has stated that buyers have shown great confidence in the brand and it is hoping to build on this growth. New details
Volkswagen has given some hints of the expected products in 2024. Ashish Gupta, Brand director of Volkswagen India, stated the brand is thinking about updating some of its existing cars and bringing all-new cars to India. He stated the brand will be revealing more information on the models coming in February or March 2024.
New Volkswagen cars expected in 2024
Though Volkswagen didn’t reveal it, we can speculate on some models that Volkswagen could bring to India. In terms of all-new products, the ID.4 is surely expected to come in 2024. It would become the brand’s first all-electric car in the country. Along with the ID.4, we can also expect the new Tiguan to make its way to India. Globally, Volkswagen unveiled the new Tiguan in 2023, and we can expect it to come to India in 2024.
Updates to current products
Along with new products, Volkswagen is also planning to bring updates to existing cars like the Taigun and Virtus. We could see some sort of a minor facelift on both the cars. In this update, we could see minor design changes and some added features. With ADAS becoming a norm, Volkswagen should offer ADAS on both the Virtus and Taigun to stay abreast with the competition. Volkswagen could also add other features like rear disc brakes, 360-degree camera drive modes, etc.
