ADAS is quickly becoming a mainstream feature in the Indian market. More and more affordable cars are offering it. Earlier today, Honda revealed the pricing of the Elevate grabbing the title of the most affordable car with ADAS. However, Hyundai had other ideas. To take that tag and also to rival the new Nexon, Hyundai has added ADAS to the Venue. With this, it becomes the first compact SUV with ADAS. In today’s article, let’s talk about the Hyundai Venue ADAS.

New Hyundai Venue with ADAS

Hyundai has introduced ADAS on the Venue and Venue N Line. In ADAS, it comes with features like forward collision warning, forward collision avoidance assist – car, pedestrian & cycle, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning and driver attention warning. For convenience, it comes with lane following assist, high beam assist and leading vehicle departure alert. 

Hyundai has also added manual transmission on the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. The new manual gearbox is offered on the S(O) and SX(O) for the Venue and N6 and N8 variants of the Venue N Line.

Variants and pricing

First, let’s talk about the new Hyundai Venue turbo petrol variants. We have the S(O) MT at Rs 12.06 lakh, SX(O) MT at Rs 14.67 lakh, SX(O) MT DT at Rs 14.82 lakh, SX(O) DCT at Rs 15.55 lakh and SX(O) DCT dual tone at Rs 15.70 lakh. Diesel variants come with SX(O) MT at Rs 15.84 lakh and SX(O) MT dual tone at Rs 15.99 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Hyundai Venue N Line is priced at Rs 14.28 lakh for the N6 MT and 15.05 lakh for the N6 DCT. Then we have the N8 MT priced at Rs 15.21 lakh and the N8 DCT priced at Rs 16.17 lakh. You can get dual tone on all variants at an additional cost of Rs 15,000.

The Venue continues with the three engine options – a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated, 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol is capable of producing 81bhp and 113Nm of torque. This engine comes only with a manual gearbox. 

Then, we have the 1.0-litre turbo petrol capable of producing 118bhp and 172Nm of torque. This engine now comes with a new manual gearbox and DCT gearbox. Then we have the 1.5-litre turbo petrol capable of producing 114bhp and 250Nm of torque. This engine also comes only with a manual gearbox.
