New Tata Nexon EV spied ahead of launch! Connected DRLs

The Nexon continues to grab all the headlines. Yesterday Tata revealed the ICE variant to much fanfare. The New Nexon gets a complete design and several new features. Now Tata is gearing up to launch the new Nexon EV. Now we have got spy shots of the Nexon EV ahead of its unveiling. In today’s article, let’s talk about the new Nexon EV.

Spy shots

The spy shots were sent to us by one of our readers, Darshan. The overall silhouette of the car is similar to ICE variants. However, at the front, we have connected the DRL design. LED headlamps are placed near the bumper. The EV also gets a different air dam design. Alloy wheels are similar to the ICE variant. At the rear, we have connected the tail lamp design and also the new name of Nexon EV i.e. Nexon.EV. 

What else to expect?

The new Nexon EV will continue with the same specifications as the outgoing model. It will continue with a 30.2kWh and 40.5kWh battery pack. Like the ICE variants, the EV variant is also going to get different nomenclature variants. The variant lineup will include Smart, Pure, Creative and fearless. Also, the prime variant will be renamed to medium range and Max will be renamed as long-range like the Tiago EV. 

Launch timeline

Earlier today, Tata posted the first teaser of the Nexon EV. It will be unveiling the car on 7th September at 9:00 PM. The pricing of the car will be revealed alongside the ICE version on 14 September 2023. Our review video will be going live on 6th September at 6:00 PM, Mark your calendars.
