Ola working on affordable electric bike options

Ola Electric concluded its grand event on 15th August. It revealed a lot of new things including the S1X, MOVE OS4 and much more. It revealed four bike concepts catering to different segments. Now, Bhavish Aggarwal has revealed that Ola is also working on affordable motorbikes. What to expect from Ola Bikes? In today’s article, let’s find out.

Bhavish Aggarwal has been quite vocal about its ambition to end the ice age. For that, it will need bikes and that too an affordable option. Bhavish Aggarwal has acknowledged this and has stated that Ola is indeed working on entry-level and mid-level motorbikes. He also stated that the brand has a strong balance sheet to fund these motorbikes and factory expansion required for these bikes. It remains to be seen are these affordable options are from the bikes Ola showcased or different models altogether.

At its 15th August event, Ola showcased four bike concepts. This lineup includes a cruiser bike, which comes with a sleek low-ride design. Then we have an adventure bike, which has a high stance similar to the Royal Enfield Himalayan. Then we have the Roadster, which Ola claims can be used for touring and daily use. The fourth bike was the Diamond Head concept, which looked like a bike straight from a sci-fi movie. Ola has opened pre-reservations for all these bikes. The first bike is expected to be launched by the end of 2024.
