Mahindra Nuvosport 2016 has been spotted as it is arriving at the dealerships. Mahindra will be discontinuing the Quanto name and renaming it as the Mahindra Nuvosport. This is another compact SUV that will be placed above the TUV300 and it will come with a 1.5-litre diesel engine and a 100bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine as well. There will be manual and AMT options available on this engine.

The Nuvosport will get the same seven seater layout like the Quanto, however it looks a lot more appealing. The Nuvosport’s front gets a new grille and the headlamps even have DRLs with LEDs. The Nuvosport has an air scoop on the hood and redesigned front bumper as well. The Mahindra Nuvosport 2016 gets blacked-out tail lamps.

The interiors of the Nuvosport will be updated. It will get features like in-dash touchscreen infotainment system with maps, reverse parking camera, bluetooth connection and even a new centre console system. This will look a lot different from the Quanto and it will have all new styling as well. The Nuvosport will be priced below the TUV300 because of the petrol engine, but the top end diesel will be more expensive than the TUV300. This will be targeting urban car buyers.
