2 new Honda cars coming next year

Honda Cars India has endured a difficult last few months with no lucrative products in their lineup. Still, there is a ray of hope as Honda is launching the Elevate. The Elevate is Honda’s first proper SUV in a market that is craving for SUVs. That shows you Honda’s poor product planning, but at least it is correcting its path now. This year Honda has launched two new products – City Facelift and Elevate. Now next year too, it is expected to bring two new products. In today’s article, let’s talk about these two new Honda cars.

New-gen Amaze

Honda’s compact SUV offering is expected to get a generational update next year. The new Amaze could be based on the updated version of the PF2 platform. Design-wise, we can expect a sharp design and bigger grille like other newer Honda cars. Specification-wise, it could come with the same engine as the current model. With the diesel gone, the Amaze is only a petrol sedan now. Other than this, a new interior layout with a floating screen design is likely to be seen. What about the launch? The new-gen Amaze is expected to be launched by mid-2024.

New Honda cars – Compact SUV

Honda is planning to launch one new SUV every year. Next year we could see a compact SUV rivalling the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza etc. This c-SUV could be the WR-V Honda launched in the South East Asian markets. The WR-V is also expected to be based on the PF-2 platform, like the new-gen Amaze. We can expect exterior styling similar to the Elevate carrying that family look. Honda will need to give it good interiors and features to attract customers. Specs-wise, we can expect the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine with manual and CVT gearbox. Honda could launch the compact SUV in the second half of 2024.
