The Kia Seltos facelift comes with ADAS level-2. The Korean siblings are often criticised for their poor safety. Though ADAS doesn’t improve the safety score, it does add an extra layer of safety. The Seltos facelift comes with ADAS features like adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning etc.
1.5-litre turbo petrol
Hyundai and Kia discontinued their 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine due to the BS 6 stage 2 norms. Both brands brought the 1.5-litre turbo petrol but on their 7-seater options. Now Kia has introduced this engine on the Seltos. This engine is capable of producing 157bhp and 253Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6iMT and 7DCT. Hyundai Creta is expected to get this 1.5-litre turbo petrol in the facelift. Still, that is a good 6 months away, and till then you can only get the turbo petrol option on the Seltos facelift.
Seltos facelift vs Creta – Digital instrument cluster
Kia has gone all in and given the Seltos facelift a digital instrument cluster. This digital instrument cluster looks quite premium. With the connected display, the overall system looks quite premium. Benefits-wise, a digital instrument cluster offer more information that is also easier to read.
Dual-zone climate control
Another segment first feature on the Seltos is the dual-zone climate control. This feature lets you set individual temperatures for the driver and co-passenger, offering that extra convenience. Kia offers dual-zone climate control from the HTX+ variant.
Seltos facelift vs Creta – 360-degree camera
The Seltos comes with a 360-degree camera since its pre-facelift version. So it is no surprise to see it on the facelifted model. Surprisingly the Creta misses out on it and this could be added in the Creta facelift. A 360-degree camera is quite a useful feature in such big SUVs giving you the added top-down perspective while parking in tight spots.
