Exter
Hyundai’s SUV lineup has been minting sales for the brand. Now another SUV is going to join its rank in the form of Exter. The Exter is a micro-SUV taking on the Tata Punch. Hyundai has revealed its design which gets a boxy outlook. Its interiors are quite similar to the Grand i10 Nios. Feature-wise, we have 8.0-inch infotainment, digital instrument cluster, over-the-air updates, voice commands, ambient sounds, and connected car technology. Hyundai will be launching the Exter on 10th July 2023, so stay tuned for its launch.
i20 facelift
Before the SUV craze, the i20 was Hyundai’s most successful product in the country. It continues to play an important part in its product lineup. The i20 is also due for a facelift, as it was last updated in 2021. The car is regularly spotted testing in the country with camouflaged front and rear designs. Apart from design changes, we could see new features like ventilated seats and auto-dimming IRVM. Could it get ADAS? Only time will tell. The i20 facelift is expected to be launched by the end of this year or early next year.
Upcoming Hyundai cars-2023 – Creta facelift
The Hyundai Creta needs no separate introduction in the country. Over the years, it has continued to exert its dominance in the C-SUV segment. Even now, the Creta is the top-selling SUV, but Hyundai is bringing its facelift. In July, the Creta facelift was first spotted testing in India. The facelift seems to be getting a new front facia inspired by its bigger sibling, the Palisade. Feature-wise, we could see ADAS, 64-colour ambient lighting, heads-up display, etc. The facelift could also come with the new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. What about the launch? The Creta facelift is expected sometime in 2024.
Stargazer
Hyundai currently lacks an affordable 7-seater option in the country. Considering the popularity of this segment, Hyundai should bring a car here. Hyundai doesn’t even need to make an all-new car, as it already has the Stargazer. The Stargazer could be a good MPV to take on the Maruti Ertiga, XL6 and Kia Carens. This MPV stays true to its practicality with plenty of storage places and premium features. It shares some elements like the steering wheel and gear knob from the Creta, and it also gets a large infotainment system.
Upcoming Hyundai cars-2023 – Affordable EV
Hyundai is looking to expand its EV lineup in the country. According to earlier reports, it is working on an affordable EV specifically for the Indian market. Earlier, this was expected to be an EV based on the Venue. However, after that, the Creta EV was spotted testing. It looks like Hyundai’s affordable EV for the Indian market is indeed the electric version of the Creta. An EV based on the Creta would make sense as it is the most popular SUV in the country. This EV is expected to be launched in 2025.
