First, let’s talk about the i20 facelift that was spotted. The i20 facelift is frequently spotted testing in the country. In these new spy shots, we can see the front and rear have been covered in camouflage. This could mean at the front, we could see a new grille and tweaked headlamps. The side profile looks more or less identical, barring the new alloy wheel design. At the rear, we could see a different tail lamp design and slight changes to the boot lid. Being a facelift, we expect the i20 to continue with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.0-litre turbo petrol. What about the launch? The i20 facelift could be launched by the end of this year or early next year.

With the i20 facelift, the upcoming Exter was also spotted. We already know about the design of the Exter. It comes with a boxy design language with an upright grille and H-shaped DRLs. Coming back to the spied car, it packs a good amount of road presence. Due to its tall body design, it powers over the i20. The rear looks a bit weird, with a pretty sharp cut on the C-pillar. Specs-wise, the Exter is going to come with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. It will also come with a CNG option for mileage-conscious buyers. Hyundai is going to launch the Exter on 10th July 2023.
