Hyundai Exter to be priced at Rs….
Hyundai has always been ahead of Curve in the Indian market. It was one of the earliest manufacturers to sense the SUV craze in India and launched the now segment leader Creta. Since then, it has followed that with the Venue and Tucson. Now Hyundai’s next target is the micro-SUV segment with the Exter. So Hyundai is soon going to unveil the Exter. So what will be its pricing? In today’s article, let’s talk about the Hyundai Exter price.
Pricing
Jumping straight to the pricing, the Exter will shit between the Grand i10 Nios and Venue in the brand’s portfolio. The Grand i10 Nios starts from Rs 6.79 lakh, while the Venue starts from Rs 9.06 lakh. So that gives Hyundai breathing room of around two lakhs. Considering this, we expect the pricing of the Exter to start from Rs 7.5 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). This pricing will pit it directly against the base pricing of the Tata Punch. What about the higher variants? Generally, Hyundai offers a wide spread of variants. We expect the higher variants to reach the Rs 12 lakh mark (on-road, Mumbai).

Design
The Hyundai Exter comes with a boxy design language. At the front, it has an upright grille design with headlamps housed adjacent to them. Above them, we have the H-shaped DRLs and indicators placed inside them. Other than that, we have the sculpted bonnet and skid plate. The side profile comes with lots of cuts and creases. As we come to the rear, we again see the H-shaped tail lamps with a black connecting strip in the middle.
Hyundai Exter price – Specifications
The Hyundai Exter shares its engine options with the Grand i10 Nios. So the Exter comes with a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol. Hyundai is yet to reveal the exact specifications, but we can expect this engine to produce 81bhp and 113Nm of torque. Transmission options include a manual and an AMT gearbox. The Exter also comes with a CNG option only with a manual gearbox.
Features
The Hyundai Exter comes loaded with features to the brim. Some highlighted features include 8.0-inch infotainment, connected car technology, voice commands, an electric sunroof, TPMS, and Ambient sounds of nature.
Hyundai Exter price & Launch date
Hyundai has confirmed that it is going to unveil the Exter on 10th July 2023. Before the unveiling, Hyundai has already revealed the Exterior and interior design. So this could mean that Hyundai will directly announce the pricing on 10th July. Another possibility is that Hyundai could announce the pricing just before the festive season.
