Royal Enfield enjoys a fan following like no other in the country. Everyone in the country has once dreamed about buying a Royal Enfield bike and going to Ladakh. The brand has built this image in the cruiser category. Of late, Royal Enfield is even trying new things with adventure, cafe racers and scrambler bikes. Late last year, Royal Enfield Continental GT was spotted testing with a unique thing. The unique thing was that it was a fully faired version. The test bike had a small fairing, but there were mounts for a full set of Fairing. Other details on the bike include a different set of mirrors and twin rear shock absorbers. But this twin shock could just be for testing.

Why the need?

So why is Royal Enfield working on a faired version? A lot of people are adding aftermarket airing to their continental GTs. And it’s not like a small handful of people, it’s a proper big scene in the aftermarket industry. So Royal Enfield is looking to add a factory-fitted option on the Continental GT. Royal Enfield can also introduce it as an aftermarket accessory for existing customers.
