New details

Kia Sonet 2023

The Kia Sonet facelift has been once again spotted testing in South Korea. In spy shots posted by Car_Spying a South Korean Instagram page. We can see a heavily camouflaged car, but it is easy to figure out this is the Sonet facelift from the front design. Despite the camo, we can see the sleek headlamp design with similar DRLs to the current model. The side profile is more or less similar barring the new alloy wheel design. At the rear, we have an inverted L-shaped tail lamp design similar to the Seltos facelift.

What else to know?

In the spy shots, we do get a sneak peek into the interior. However, the entire interior is heavily camouflaged. This could mean that the Sonet facelift could get some updates like a new upholstery and a tweaked dashboard layout. Some features Kia could add include a cooled glovebox, heads-up display, electric driver seat etc. Another thing could Kia add is ADAS. In terms of engine specifications, the Sonet facelift will continue with the same engine options. So will have a 1.0-litre turbo, a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.
