Citroen is ramping up its ambitions in the Indian market. After entering the electric segment, it now plans to target the C-SUV segment. The C-SUV segment is one of the most fiercely competitive segments in India. So Citroen will have to bring its A-game to this segment. Citroen is working on the car, and now we have spy shots of the car ahead of launch. In today’s article, let’s talk about the 2023 Citroen C3 Aircross.

New spy shots

The new spy shots were sent to us by one of our readers, Ayush Gupta. It is easy to guess this is the Citroen C3 Aircross from the unique front design. The side profile looks quite proportional. This spied car didn’t sport alloy wheels, which will be quite a miss in this segment. From the looks of it, the car seems more of a 5-seater than a 7-seater. As we come to the rear, we can see C-shaped LED tail lamps.

What else to expect?

2023 Citroen C3 Aircross

According to rumours, the C3 Aircross will be quite better equipped than the C3 hatchback. In the spy video, we can see a digital instrument cluster and a 10-inch infotainment system. It could get slightly better interiors and upholstery. Other expected features include electric ORVMs, alloy wheels, rear AC vents etc. What about the engine specifications? It could come with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. The naturally aspirated could be underpowered for a car of this size, but Citroen could offer it to lower the costs.

2023 Citroen C3 Aircross – Launch timeline

Citroen has announced a new launch/unveil on the 27th of April. This could be the launch/unveil of the Citroen C3 Aircross. We expect Citroen to first unviel the car followed by a launch a few months later. What about the pricing? We expect the Citroen C3 Aircross to be priced around the Rs 12 lakh mark. This pricing could be for the 5-seater variant.
