Hyundai Creta has become synonymous with SUVs in the country. Funnily enough, Creta didn’t start the C-SUV trend in India, it was started by the now-discontinued Renault Duster. But Hyundai played out its cards quite better than Renault. It constantly kept an eye out on the competition by constantly updating the Creta. Now, Hyundai has again looked at new competitors as two new Creta rivals are coming in the next few months. In today’s article, let’s talk about these new Creta rivals.

Citroen SUV

Citroen is a fairly new manufacturer in India with an experience of only a handful of years. Still, it seems to have figured that it needs to flood the market with products to gain sales. Citroen has already launched three new vehicles in different segments and now it is entering the most competitive segment in India. It recently unveiled the C3 Aicross in India. The C3 Aircross comes with a unique design like other Citroen cars. Specification-wise, it comes with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine capable of producing 108bhp and 190Nm of torque. It only comes with a manual gearbox option. What about the launch? Citroen C3 Aircross could be launched in the upcoming months.

New Creta rivals – Honda C-SUV

Honda’s fortunes have dipped a lot in the last few years. Its decision to stick with sedans in a market wanting SUVs has backfired. Thankfully better sense has prevailed at Honda, and now the brand is bringing its first true SUV. This Honda SUV has been spied a few times revealing a sharp design and curvy bits at the rear. Specification-wise, this Honda SUV is expected to come with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and also a 1.5-litre strong hybrid petrol. Both engines are expected to come with a manual and CVT gearbox options. What about the launch? Honda is expected to launch this SUV before the festive season.
