Specifications

Now let’s talk about the range details. According to media reports, it could come with four-wheel-drive and two-wheel-drive options. The two-wheel drive option could get a single motor paired to a 48kWh battery pack (approx range of 400km). So coming to the main point, when will this EV hit the market? Currently, Maruti is taking a steady approach in the EV segment. It is waiting for the infrastructure to properly develop before launching an EV. So the earliest possible launch date of this car is expected to be around 2025. Till that time, the brand wants to focus on other alternatives like hybrids and CNG cars.
