Maruti is launching one new car after another. As of now, Maruti has one of the most diversified product line-ups in the Indian market, and now it is looking to take that one setup further. It is already working on the 5-door Jimny but now there could be another 7-seater on the way. So what is this product? It is a premium 7-seater which already exists in the market. So is it updating the XL6 again? No, it is the rebadged version of the Toyota Innova. In today’s article, let’s talk about this premium 7-seater from Maruti.

According to a new report published by Bussiness Standard, Toyota will be offering the new Innova HyCross to Maruti for rebadging. Rebadging is nothing new for the two brands as Toyota already rebadges a lot of Maruti cars. However, this is the first time Maruti will be rebadging a Toyota-made car in India. Globally, Maruti has rebaged Toyota cars like the RAV4 and Corolla Wagon as A-Cross and Swace, respectively.
