KTM kick-started its India journey in 2012 with the Duke 200. In the next 10 years, it has formed its cult in our market. People generally love its power delivery, which is geared towards an explosive performance. Also, KTM bikes look quite sporty, attracting several teenagers to the brand. KTM already makes several types of motorcycles, but it wants to expand its portfolio further in the country. In today’s article, we will talk about four new KTM bikes that could make their way to India.

2023 Duke 200

The 200 Duke is quite an important product in KTM’s portfolio. It is one of the highest-selling KTM bikes in India. The 2023 Duke 200 was spotted testing for the first time. The test mule revealed a new design with a bigger tank and sleeker tail lamps & headlamps. Overall KTM could make the frame lighter like its other newer bikes. Also, we see the updated LCD screen that was first seen on the 250 Adventure.

New KTM bikes – 790 Duke

The 790 Duke is KTM’s option in the middleweight category. It is positioned between the 390 Duke and 890 Duke. KTM had launched the 790 Duke in 2019 but had to discontinue it soon due to the stringent emission norms. So, will it be making a comeback? According to reports, KTM could relaunch it in India. It would be powered by a 799cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine capable of producing 103bhp & 87Nm of torque. Pricing-wise, it is expected to be priced around the Rs 8.70 lakh (ex-showroom).

KTM 890 Duke R

The 890 Duke is KTM’s most premium bike in its lineup. As a product, it is based on the 790 Duke, but better in most aspects. The differences will be just like the Triumph Street Triple S and the Street Triple RS. It will sport the 889cc liquid cooled parallel twin engine that makes 114bhp & 92Nm of torque. What about its pricing? The pricing of the Duke 890 is expected to be somewhere around the Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).

New KTM bikes – 890 Adventure R

Adventure bikes are quickly gaining popularity all over the world. To capitalise on this popularity, KTM has the 890 Adventure bike. We see something similar with the KTM 390 Duke and 390 Adventure. KTM already sells the 890 Adventure in its overseas markets. It is powered by the same 889cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine that powers the 890 Duke R. What about its specifications? It makes more torque than the Duke 890. Its engine produces 103.5bhp & 100Nm of torque.
