Chevrolet Spin spied inside out

Chevrolet’s latest compact MPV, the Spin was caught testing ahead of its launch at the Auto Expo next month.

The Spin will compete head to head with the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Honda Mobilio. This will be Chevrolet’s 3rd product in the MPV range after the Tavera & Enjoy.

From the images we can see that the Spin gets all beige interiors which will help in the airiness of the cabin. Dashboard is all-new and sports light beige on the face while there is a grey shade all around. We are guessing that the spied model will be the top spec variant as we noticed the Steering is leather wrapped 3 spoke unit with audio controls. Instrument cluster is a 2-pot unit. The Spin also gets a dual din audio player. Plenty of cubby holes are seen to allow passengers to store odd items. The 3rd row is clearly not suited for long journeys if you see the foot room available. It will be best suited for kids.

General Motors could offer the Chevrolet Spin with the same 1.2L petrol & the 1.3L diesel motor currently plonked in the Sail twins. Transmission options could include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
