Mahindra Cybertruck rival in works!
The world is turning towards EVs at a rapid pace, and all automakers have started working on their new cars. One manufacturer that has a head start in this aspect has been Tesla. It is working on a sleeve of products including the Cybertruck. Sadly we might not see Tesla in India anytime soon. But Mahindra could be launching its version of the Cybertruck. In today’s article, we will talk about Mahindra’s Cybertruck rival.
How do we know it?
Earlier this year, Mahindra started teasing its new electric cars based on the Born Electric platform. In the teaser, Mahindra showed three cars with futuristic designs. When will Mahindra unveil them? Mahindra will be doing the full reveal of these cars in July 2022. Through this speculation one of the cars is a pickup like Tesla’s Cybertruck.
How will it be similar to Cybertruck?
Our speculation is based on the front design of one of the three cars. The front design gets C-shaped LED DRLs, which resemble the Tesla Cybertruck. Is this evidence enough for this speculation? We also have the rear, which showed connected tail lamps. Above this, we see some blank space which could be the storage space.
What can we expect from the Mahindra Cybertruck rival?
This pickup will be based on Mahindra’s Born Electric platform. So what’s so special about it? The Born electric platform is a ground-up electric platform. So through it, Mahindra will be paying special attention to design and human interference in these ground-up EVs. What about its performance and range figures? This is hard to speculate as Mahindra has been tight-lipped about it. However, we expect it to come with good performance and range figures. In terms of features, we expect Mahindra to load it with features.
