Hyundai Carens rival teased – LAUNCH SOON!

The entry-level MPV market has mostly been profitable in India. Maruti has had a strong hand in this segment. Kia launched the Carens to break this monopoly. Kia has found decent success with the Carens as well. So why would Hyundai stay quiet? Hyundai has been working on its MPV, which the brand will call the ‘Stargazer’. Now it has teased the Stargazer in Indonesia. The Stargazer will be first launched in Indonesia at the 2022 GIIAS (Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show) in August. In today’s article, we will talk about the teased Hyundai Carens rival.

What has been teased?

The Stargazer has been in the works for quite some time. After months of anticipation and spottings, Hyundai has released the first teaser of the Stargazer. In the teaser, we can see a futuristic front-end design. We see an LED DRL running across the bonnet. What else can we spot? A glossy grille with headlamps adjacent to it can also be spotted. Coming to the side profile, it does look different from the Kia Carens as it is more curvy. At the rear, we have taillamps running through the entire width like the front.

What about the interiors?

Hyundai is yet to reveal the interiors of the Stargazer. But we expect it to get a premium-looking interior like other Hyundai cars. What about features? It might share most of its features with the Venue and Creta. So a big touchscreen infotainment system, connected car technology, wireless connectivity, fully digital instrument cluster etc. could be made available in this Carens rivals.

Hyundai Carens rival – Will it come to India?

So coming to the important part, Hyundai has not yet confirmed anything about the Stargazer for India. But seeing the response for the Kia Carens, Hyundai could really be considering a launch in India. We expect Hyundai to launch the Stargazer in 2023. The Auto Expo 2023 could be the perfect time for Hyundai to introduce the Stargazer into the Indian market.
