2022 Mahindra Scorpio interior spied! MANY DETAILS!
Something new about the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio keeps popping almost everyday. This is thanks to this iconic SUV’s craze amongst buyers. Today, we have some new information about the Scorpio. Of late, we have been only getting exterior spy shots but now, we have received new images, revealing the interior details of the Scorpio. The spy shots have been taken from YouTube channel that goes by the name ‘Upcoming Car Leaks’. According to the source, this is the mid-variant of the upcoming 2022 Scorpio. In today’s article, we discuss the interior spy shots of the Mahindra Scorpio in detail.
Mahindra Scorpio Interior spy shots
Mahindra has gone over and above in updating the interiors of the Scorpio. The biggest change is the dashboard layout which now features a large infotainment system. Besides the infotainment system, we have vertically-placed AC vents. A semi-digital instrument cluster is clearly visible in the spy shots. Important feature like the TPMS system now stands confirmed. When looked at the semi-digital instrument cluster closely, we can see the indicated top-speed to be 220kmph. The touchscreen infotainment system can be seen loaded with the AdrenoX UI. What AdrenoX features do you think could the Scorpio get?
This being the mid-variant, we can see the driver seat being manually-adjustable. Adjustments for recline, seat-height and lumbar-support are clearly visible. This variant also comes with keyless-entry as we can see the push-button start-stop. Grab handle for the driver will continue to be mounted on the A-pillar. Looking at the centre-console buttons, we can see that the new Scorpio will come with idle start-stop, hill descent control, drive modes, traction control and connected car technology. We also get to see two connection ports for the front row, a fast-charging port and a USB port. The mid-variants of the Scorpio will come with manual handbrake as well.
Coming to the second-row, the Scorpio will also be available with captain seats and roof-mounted speakers as confirmed by the spy shots. We can see recline-adjust lever for the second-row captain seats as well. AC vents with blower controls and charging port will also be available. We also see forward-facing third row seats instead of jumper seats which were earlier a part of the speculation list. Boot space, however seems negligible with all rows up. The interior room lamps are LED-powered in the mid-variant (as confirmed from the spy shots). The mid-variant will get manually-dimming IRVM. A sunglass holder will also be present in the mid-variants. Two glove-boxes are expected as well.

Launch updates
So, when is the Scorpio launching? Mahindra has been keeping a tight-lip regarding the launch. However, a lot of information is flying around with some speculation stating that the launch could take place in June as it marks the 20th anniversary of the original Scorpio. If rumours are to be believed, Mahindra has started training dealerships for the new Scorpio as well. All of this indicates that the June launch could actually be a major possibility.
