New-generation Maruti Brezza
We already know that the new generation of the Maruti Brezza is going to roll out very soon. The car is expected to start somewhere around Rs 9.5 lakh (on-road). This time around, the Brezza would be getting multiple new features like the a 9.0-inch infotainment system, Suzuki Smart Connect, heads-up display, and a 360-degree parking camera. Also, it would be the first Maruti car in India to get a sunroof.
New generation Maruti Alto
The Maruti Alto is one of the top selling hatchbacks in India. The new generation of the Alto is also expected to launch in the coming months. It is expected to be launched after the launch of the new Brezza. Talking about the update, it could offer 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre petrol engine options. It is expected to be made available with factory-fitted CNG kits as well. Also, the new generation Alto might get an AMT gearbox on its top trim. It is expected to be priced between Rs 4 lakhs to Rs 6.5 lakhs (on-road) for all variants.
Citroen C3
Citroen’s next launch for India would be the affordable C3 that is touted to fall under Rs 10 lakhs, atleast for the majority of variants. It will be a premium hatchback with bold SUVish design language. The engine powering this vehicle is said to be a powerful 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. Moreover, it is expected to be one of the very rare cars under Rs 10 lakh to offer a DCT gearbox. We might see this SUV very soon in the market competing with the new Maruti Baleno, new Toyota Glanza, Tata Altroz, and Hyundai-punch-rival i20.
Upcoming cars under Rs 10 lakhs – Hyundai Venue facelift
The Hyundai Venue is one of the most feature-loaded SUVs in its segment. With the facelift, it would be getting even more features. We expect that it might be the first Hyundai car to get ADAS features. Along with ADAS, the Venue facelift might also get new features like a 360-degree parking camera, ventilated seats, heads-up display, and added features in its Bluelink connected car technology.
Upcoming cars under Rs 10 lakhs – MG E230
Here, we have considered an electric car as well. The MG e230 might be the first electric vehicle that might be launched in India for under Rs 10 lakhs or rather close to Rs 6 to 7 lakh. It will be a compact two-door, four-seater mini car. Being this compact, it is touted be very easy to drive in city traffic. It is expected to be a good option for buyers using a two-wheeler for daily commutes. The strongest highlight of this car would be its aggressive pricing.
