Auto Expo boasts of 80 new unveils in 2016
The 2016 Auto Expo that is to be help from the 5th to the 9th of February 2016 will be the largest till date spanning over 73,000 sq mtr.
This would be the 13th edition of the Auto Expo, jointly organized by ACMA,CII, and SIAM, accredited by OICA is being held from the 5th-9th of February, 2016 at the India Expo mart, Greater Noida .The Expo is expected to revive the auto industry and the Indian economy as a whole.
In a press release that was sent out yesterday, SIAM’s President Mr Vinod Dasari, said “Auto Expo has conventionally been one of the most sought after platforms for the automobile industry. We believe that Auto Expo gives the much needed thrust to the industry in totality and ensures that the participating brands get noticed at a global level. We applaud the efforts that have gone into making this edition of the Auto Expo bigger, better and more exciting. The team has put in cohesive efforts to ensure that the run to the expo is smooth and every minute detail is taken care of.
” He also mentioned that he hoped that the Auto Expo will help revive the fortunes of the auto industry which has flattened its growth curve in the past few years.
Mr Chandrajit Banerjee, Director General CII,further elaborated that the Auto Expo has seen a tenfold growth from 152 exhibitors to 1580 exhibitors in 2016, which is phenomenal over a period of 30 years. He also commented that Auto Expo 2016 would further witness unveiling of 80 new vehicles which has been the largest by far.
