2 Toyota’s cars coming in 2022-23

After a period of absence, Toyota has returned with a bang. It has launched two new products in 2022, Hilux and the Glanza. Now it is looking to launch more products in India. Recently it also showed its Hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, the Mirai. Toyota India had held an inauguration event for its Mirai Project. It is also working on bringing all-new vehicles to India. In today’s article, we will see two new Toyota cars coming in 2022-23.

Mid-size SUV

It is no secret that Toyota and Suzuki are working on a new mid-size SUV. This new model is codenamed D22 and will be based on the Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA) platform. Toyota will be developing the mid-size SUV for both brands. Design-wise, Toyota’s SUV will get styling elements from RAV4 & Corolla Cross. The mid-size SUV is expected to come with Suzuki’s 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a hybrid setup from Toyota. In this segment, features have become an important USP. So Toyota will be loading its new SUV with a lot of features.  

Toyota cars coming in 2022-23- Next-generation Innova

Toyota has started testing the new generation Innova for international and Indian markets. This new model is codenamed 560B and is expected to replace the Innova Crysta MPV. The new-generation Innova might be based on the front-wheel-drive DNGA platform. Design-wise it will take design elements from the new Veloz and Avanza. Also, the new generation Toyota Innova will be slightly shorter than the current model. But Toyota will not compromise on interior space. Spec-wise it is expected to come with a hybrid setup to increase fuel efficiency.
