Updated 2022 Kia Seltos and Sonet

Kia is known for its customer-centred strategy. This approach has brought great success for the brand. After the launch of the Carens, Kia has turned its focus to its other bestsellers, the Seltos and Sonet. It has given both of them a mid-year update to keep them fresh. In today’s article, we will see the updated 2022 Kia Seltos and Sonet. 

2022 Kia Sonet

The Sonet gets a host of changes in this refresh. It now comes with side airbags and a Highline tyre pressure monitoring system standard across all variants. All iMT variants will also get ESC, VSM, brake assist and hill assist control. 6-airbags will be available from the HTX+ variant. The updated Sonet also gets a 4.2-inch colour instrument cluster from the HTX variant. Semi-leatherette seats will be offered from the HTE variant. Kia has also added two new colour options, Imperial blue and Sparkling Silver. The Sonet also gets the new logo on the steering wheel and tailgate. Pricing of the refreshed Sonet starts from Rs 7.15 lakh and goes to Rs 13.69 lakh (ex-showroom). 

New Kia Seltos

The Seltos get more changes than the Sonet. The big update is now safety features like ESC, vehicle stability management, brake assist, Highline tyre pressure monitoring system, hill assist control, all-disc brakes and four airbags standard across all variants. HTX+ variant now gets 6-airbags. Also, now all automatic variants come with paddle shifters with drive modes and traction control. The 1.5-litre diesel engine gets an iMT option in the HTK+ variant. Also, Kia has introduced the 1.5-litre diesel automatic variant in the HTX variant. Other changes include a new Seltos logo on the steering wheel, scuff plate and tailgate. The X-line logo is embossed on the seats of the X-line variant. The pricing of the refresh Seltos starts from Rs 10.19 lakh and goes to Rs 18.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
