Tata Curvv – What it indicates towards Tata’s future cars?
Tata Motors is one of the early manufacturers that has dabbled in the EV space in India. This strategy has given it a decent amount of headstart in the EV race. Last week, Tata unveiled its newest electric concept, the Tata Curvv. Unlike other Tata EVs, the Curvv is a ground-up EV. It is quite an ambitious concept from Tata. Tata has added a lot of futuristic elements to the Curvv. So how does Curvv define future Tata cars? In today’s article, let’s find out.
Technology
The Curvv concept comes packed with a lot of technology. Tata has not revealed the range and power figures. We can expect a big performance from the current Nexon EV. So this improved battery and performance will also trickle down to future Tata EVs.
Design
The Curvv is based on Tata’s new digital design language that will be used by all its future SUVs. The Curvv concept is an SUV coupe. Considering the increasing popularity of such coupe SUVs, we can expect more such designs from Tata. Reportedly Tata is already working on a Nexon coupe. So we can expect Tata to use similar design elements on the Nexon coupe.
Tata future cars- Features
The Tata Curvv concept showcased a lot of new features. Being a concept car, it had a lot of features that won’t make it to production cars. But we can see some features trickling into the production car. The major being the electric tailgate. Other features we can see include the panoramic sunroof, floating instrument cluster, bigger infotainment system, digital AC controls and two-spoke steering wheel.
