Royal Enfield has been in the new recently for its all new motorcycles, Himalayan, that is due to be launched next month. This is the first touring segment motorcycle from their stable and also is expected to be launched with a new family of engine.

There are reports of two variants to the Himalayan. One would be for a more urban use and the other for adventure touring. The presence of the windshield suggests that the Himalayan in this spyshot is the off-road focussed version. The cluster itself is composed of three chrome-enclosed dials housing the speedometer, rev-counter and the fuel gauge.

The speedometer (which has readings for kmph and mph) gets a part digital display for the odometer and possibly a trip computer. A gear position indicator is also expected to be housed in this cluster. Spyshots have shown the Himalayan with mounting points for luggage and jerry-cans and an upswept exhaust, which will aid the motorcycle’s departure angle.

The Himalayan is expected with a starting price of INR 2 lakhs, ex-Showroom.
