Jeep Meridian – Price expectations & variants
Jeep, until now, only has two cars on sale in India; the Compass and the Wrangler. Jeep recently unveiled its new full-size seven-seater SUV, the Meridian fir India. It will be on sale very soon in the market. In this article, we have listed the expected variants and pricing of the new Jeep Meridian.
Expected Variants
Jeep might not offer a large variety of variants fir the Meridian. We only expect two variants to be on offer, 4×2 and 4×4. Both the variants would be available in petrol as well as diesel engine options.
Engine
The Jeep Meridian will come with a 2.0-litre diesel engine. This engine comes with a six-speed manual and a nine-speed automatic gearbox. Also, the Meridian comes with Forward Wheel Drive as well as All Wheel Drive configurations.
Jeep Meridian Price – Interior and Features
There is a lot to talk about in the interior. This car would get many modern and fancy features compared to a Toyota Fortuner. It will get a big 10.1-inch floating infotainment system with FCA’s UConnect 5, a fully-digital instrument cluster, 360-degree parking camera, premium Alpine sound system and many more features.
Jeep Meridian Price
We expect the Meridian to start from somewhere around Rs 28 lakhs and go up to Rs 32 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Meridian once launched would compete with cars like Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, and Mahindra Alturas G4.
