Mercedes Benz all new E Class in its long wheel base avatar has been caught on camera. This car is slated to be launched in India in the coming few months.

Earlier the LWB version was only China specific but now Mercedes Benz India plans to change that and offer this version in India as well. This means that the new E Class will have far more space compared to any other car in its competition.

There are two models spotted by the team from CarNewsChina, the one in black has their traditional Avangarde with its three slotted grille and the standing three pointed star. On the other hand the car in red depicts their sport model with their three pointed star integrated in the front grille.

The E Class LWB is reported to be 80 to 120 mm longer than the regular model, which measures 4,880 mm (already 43 mm longer than outgoing E Class). It is likely to be exclusive to the most powerful option in the engine lineup, which is the E 400 that packs a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine with 333 hp and 480 Nm of torque. The only transmission option is a 9G-TRONIC 9-speed gearbox.
