Hyundai Creta facelift expected launch date and price hike!
Hyundai has already launched the new Creta facelift in Indonesia. The facelifted car is set to launch in India this year. This time around, Hyundai is bringing quite a few changes that will help Creta sustain its mark as the best-selling C-segment SUV. In this article, we discuss the Creta facelift for India, its expected launch date and the expected price hike.
Launch Date
Hyundai launched the current generation Creta on the 16th of March in 2020. Since then, the Creta has not received any major updates. The brand is expected to bring in a special Knight Edition for the Creta soon. Post that, we expect the Creta facelift to make its entry here. We expect the facelift to launch sometime around the end of this year or the beginning of next year.
Hyundai Creta Facelift Launch – Expected Features
Although the Creta does get premium interiors, we expect Hyundai to further enhance the cabin experience by adding in elements like multi-colour ambient lighting and a fully-digital instrument cluster. In terms of features, Hyundai could draw in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), added Blue Link features, 360-degree camera and blind view monitor to enhance the overall experience.
Hyundai Creta Facelift Launch – Engine Specifications
The 2022 Creta is expected to retain the same engine options; a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine which makes 113bhp & 250Nm of torque, a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that makes 113bhp & 144Nm of torque & a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 138bhp & 242Nm of torque.
Expected prices
The current-generation Hyundai Creta starts with a price of Rs 10.23 lakhs and goes up to Rs 17.85 lakhs (ex-showroom). Since the new Creta would come in with extra features, the prices of this car would definitely see a hike. We expect the Creta facelift to come in with a price hike of Rs 60,000 to Rs 80,000 according to the variants.
