Tata Safari to get these things in its next update

Tata Safari was first launched in 1998. It was a very well-known SUV at that time. Now, the trend of SUVs has grown very well in the Indian market. Every company is launching SUVs in every segment of the market. So, Tata had to bring back this iconic name – Safari, and Tata did accomplish that in 2021. The new Safari came with modern-age design and features. Now, we expect it to get an update very soon. In this article, we have listed the major updates we can expect in the Tata Safari facelift.

Petrol Engine

The Safari currently is only offered with the Kryotec 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine. This engine makes 168bhp & 350Nm of torque. But the Safari clearly misses out on a petrol engine. Soon, Tata is going to offer a petrol engine option as well. The company is testing their 1.5-litre, four cylinder turbo-petrol engine which will be suitable for their bigger products like the Harrier and Safari. So, we might see the Safari with a petrol engine in the next update.

Tata Safari facelift – Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS)

The Mahindra XUV700 was the first car to get the ADAS features in Harrier & Safari’s segment. Safari is the biggest competitor of the XUV700. So, Tata might also bring the ADAS to its products like the Harrier and Safari to be in the competition. ADAS features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane-keep assists, Park assists, Automatic Emergency Braking, and other basic features are expected to be made available.

Tata Safari facelift – Bigger Infotainment system

The Tata Safari is a big car. The car also feels big from the inside but the infotainment system seems to be small. So, we expect that Tata might give it a bigger infotainment system to compliment its personality. Along with a big infotainment unit, it might also give it added connected car tech features.
