Kia Seltos to get this new technology before Creta
Kia Motors debuted in India in 2019 with its popular SUV, the Seltos. This car was very well-known for the features that it had on offer. The Seltos was a value for money, feature-rich car with a decent list of segment-first features. Now, this car will be getting a facelift very soon in India. In this article, we have mentioned the new technologies we might see very soon in the new Kia Seltos facelift.
New features
The Kia Seltos facelift will continue to get the premium Bose music system with mood lights. The highlight feature of the new Seltos is expected to be ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist System). This is something that is hot in reference to the upcoming facelifts. Apart from this, we will expect to see additional features in the Kia’s connected car tech, UVO. With the addition of these features, it would give a strong competition to the Hyundai Creta and other C-segment SUVs along with the feature-rich Mahindra XUV700.
Kia Seltos Facelift – Engine options
In India, the new Seltos will get the same engine options that we see on the current one. It will get a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine which makes 113bhp & 250Nm. It will also get a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated MPi petrol engine that makes 113bhp & 144Nm and a 1.4-litre GDi turbo-petrol engine that makes 138bhp & 242Nm of torque.
Kia Seltos Facelift – Expected launch
The Kia Seltos facelift is expected to launch by mid-2022. The Seltos facelift is rumoured to make its entry before the Creta facelift in India. This could be a golden opportunity for Kia to get a headstart against the Creta through which they can draw in more sales.
