Kia India has been riding high on success since its debut. Vehicles like the Seltos and the Sonet have given the brand a firm ground to hold on to. Recently, it added another product to its ever-expanding lineup with the Carens. Next, Kia is looking to update the Seltos with a facelift. It has been testing the Seltos facelift in South Korea for some time now. Now we have obtained new spy shots of the Seltos facelift, revealing some more details. The spy shots were posted on AutoSpy, a South Korean website. Though only the rear is visible in these shots, it is easy to figure out this is the Seltos from the rear silhouette. The new taillamps feature a more vertical design than the current ones. Under braking, we can see the slanted taillamps in action. 

What else do we know?

The Seltos facelift will get a new grille with a new headlamp design. It will also get revised front and rear bumpers. The cabin of the Seltos is also expected to get some changes. We can expect features like a bigger touchscreen, more features on connected car tech etc. But the biggest addition seems to be the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). Kia will continue with the same engine options on the facelifted car. So it will retain its two petrol engines: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated and 1.4-litre turbo. The diesel engine will be a 1.5-litre unit. Kia offers a wide variety of automatic and manual gearbox options on the Seltos.
