SUVs are the hottest fad these days. Every carmaker is trying to bring at least one SUV in each segment in oder to gain in on this popularity. Even Nissan did this in order to turnaround its gam in the country. However, Nissan India only has two cars on offer as of today; the Magnite and the Kicks. This is however not the scene when we look at global markets. To bring in more sales, Nissan might bring few more SUVs from the global markets to India. In today’s article, we will take a look at two new SUVs that we wish Nissan brings here.

Nissan Terra is a full-size seven-seater SUV that would compete with Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Jeep Meridian, and Mahindra Alturas G4. This car looks really muscular and is 4885mm long, 1865mm wide & 1835mm tall, with a 2850mm wheelbase and 225mm ground clearance. For instant comparison, the Toyota Fortuner is 4795mm long, 1855mm wide & 1835mm tall.

Talking about the engine, it could come powered by a 2.3-litre twin-turbo diesel engine capable of producing 190bhp & 450Nm of torque. This engine will be mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox. Nissan offers Terra with 2WD as well as the 4WD drivetrain options to fulfill the needs of a variety buyers.

The Nissan Patrol is a full-size luxury SUV. It competes with the Toyota Land Cruiser internationally. The Nissan Patrol gets luxurious interiors. It is one of the most capable cars, ready to take on any terrain without compromising luxury. Talking about engine, it gets a really powerful 5.6-litre V8 engine which produces 400bhp & 560Nm of torque and comes mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. It also gets four-wheel-drive (4WD) as well. Globally, the Nissan Patrol is cheaper than the Toyota Land Cruiser.
