The Alcazar comes with a manual & torque converter gearbox while the Tucson comes with a torque converter gearbox only. The biggest difference between both the cars however is the availability of 4WD. Tucson offers 4WD on some of its variants whereas the Alcazar is a regular FWD SUV.

Also, if 4WD is on your priority list, the Tucson will make sense for you. With that being said, Hyundai is all set to bring the new-generation Tucson in 2022.
